Learn all about our expertise in plastic injection molding and stretched glass
What is plastic injection molding, and how does the process work?
The plastic injection molding (or injection molding) is a high-precision industrial process that enables the mass production of parts with perfect repeatability. The process involves heating polymer pellets to their melting point and injecting them under high pressure into a steel mold. Once cooled, the material solidifies and the part is ejected. At Medicos, we incorporate this technology to meet the requirements of the leading international brands, particularly in the cosmetics and food processing.
What are the benefits of plastic injection molding for your projects?
This process offers significant benefits for manufacturers:
- Geometric precision: enables the creation of parts with complex shapes and fine details.
- Cost-effectiveness: ideal for the production of medium and large production runs thanks to a high production rate.
- Versatility of Materials: use of thermoplastics standard or engineering thermoplastics and sustainable materials.
- Integrated finishes: option to combine injection molding with decoration, welding or finishing directly at our facilities.
Why choose drawn glass for bottle design and architecture?
The drawn glass is distinguished by its exceptional optical clarity and the uniformity of its walls. Unlike molded glass, it is processed from glass tubes, making it the material of choice for dropper pipettes.
