QHSE Manager
Plastics Industry (M/F)
Position based in Rombach (68) Permanent Contract / Full-time

We are looking for a QHSE Manager for our production facility in Rombach (68)

You will implement the Quality Policy, coordinate its execution, and roll it out in collaboration with the various process managers. You will oversee product quality management (design, development, manufacturing, and delivery).
Your responsibilities:
1. Quality and Development:
- Lead and develop the technical team’s skills.
- Take the customer’s quality requirements into account in consultation with the R&D department and the sales team.
- Review and update customer specifications, ensuring that HACCP and regulatory requirements are incorporated.
- Prepare and track FEBEA files, ensuring that the information and quality documentation are in compliance
- Develop, maintain, and update internal specifications
- Define and organize quality documentation related to new product launches
- Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the quality system and to risk management
- Ensure compliance with the development process, particularly by participating in project committees.
- Take immediate action or issue an alert as soon as any deviations are detected.
2. Production Quality:
- Implement the necessary quality tools for production: Quality Management System
- Promote quality in Production: streamline the follow-up on action plans resulting from audits, change controls, and qualifications; monitor nonconformities and preventive/corrective actions in Production
- Create / Verify Production Quality Documents
- Manage the list of internal and external documents for Production.
- Conduct quality training sessions for the Production department
- Halt production in the event of non-compliance
3. Quality System:
- Coordinate the HSE quality management system with stakeholders (both internal and external), particularly through working groups
- Organize and oversee regulatory compliance and monitor regulatory developments specific to the company’s business lines
- Prepare, plan, and conduct internal and external audits.
- Lead and facilitate management reviews and provide all quality-related information for the past year
- Develop HSE quality action plans, manage nonconformities, and verify the results of corrective and preventive actions
- Approve internal documents related to new product launches (control range, measuring instruments)
- Propose, implement, and monitor the application of various procedures that ensure the quality of manufactured products.
- Study and implement any changes to methods with a view to improving their efficiency.
- Represent the Client within the company in all areas of quality
Required Skills:
Techniques:
- Knowledge of the work environment, the workshop, and the products
- Knowledge of the Quality System and quality regulations
- Problem-Solving and Risk Analysis Tools
- Design, launch, and manage a complex project
- Master statistical analysis and the specified control techniques
- Standard: ISO 9001 – (Knowledge of ISO 13485 is a plus)
- Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Metrology

Your profile:
You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree with a specialization in quality and must have at least 5 years of experience in product quality, ideally in the cosmetics or food industry.
Your leadership skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and dynamism, combined with your pragmatic approach, will all be key assets for success in this role.
You feel comfortable working on-site and enjoy collaborating with the various production teams. You are available and know how to be firm when necessary.
You demonstrate patience and understanding of the issues raised by customers.
You are organized, thorough, and proactive in proposing solutions regarding technical and human resources, enabling you to achieve the set objectives. A good command of English is required for this position; German is a plus.
